| Item | Need |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit |
| Runtime | .NET desktop runtime (current) |
| Client | Supported Roblox desktop build (see changelog) |
| Disk | Extracted folder, not ZIP preview |
ARM64 Windows and 32-bit Windows are not this SKU. Missing .NET presents as a silent launch. Store Roblox is a separate channel.
Requirements fail in boring ways. 32-bit Windows will not run this SKU. ARM laptops emulating x64 may, or may not — unsupported. Low disk in Temp plus ZIP preview equals missing DLLs. Controlled Folder Access can block writes next to the extracted folder; that looks like a crash on execute, not on attach.
.NET desktop runtime is the dependency people skip because the error is unhelpful. Install the current 64-bit desktop pack from Microsoft, reboot if asked, try Xeno again. Visual C++ redist may also appear on some builds; if a side-by-side configuration error shows, install the x64 redistributable.
GPU overlay stacks (GeForce, Discord admin overlay) rarely matter for an external window executor, unlike in-game overlays. They still can steal focus. Close them if the editor never receives paste.
Network is required for Roblox, not for opening a local ZIP. Offline execute of a local script still needs a running client. This requirements table does not list a GPU model because Xeno is not a renderer.
RAM: if the client already struggles, an extra process will not help. This is not a reason to pirate more RAM guides. Disk: SSD vs HDD does not change attach semantics. Display: 4K scaling can make the editor tiny; Windows DPI settings fix that, not a “4K Xeno” download.
Corporate images with AppLocker will simply refuse the binary. That is a policy success, not a Xeno bug. Home Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 are the documented targets.
